ATTEND VIRTUALLY
We are delighted that you are considering attending the HA Virtual Conference that will run alongside the in-person event this May.
We’ve carefully selected several workshops and sessions to live-stream and, after the Conference, delegates will gain access to all the recorded Conference sessions.
For our Virtual Conference delegates, we will be streaming live content with a choice from one primary, two secondary and one general strand sessions within each time slot each day, plus the keynote sessions.
As a virtual delegate, you can expect a seamless virtual event experience, which includes the following:
- The chance to view all Virtual Conference programme content spread over both days of the Conference
- The ability to view the content post-event ‘on demand’ until Friday 28 July 2023
- Easy networking with the ability to click the ‘meet now’ button between exhibitors, sponsors, and delegates
- The opportunity to meet with exhibitors and sponsors via their virtual booths
- Use of the chat function to ask questions to the speakers via the virtual host in each session
We can’t promise you the same kind of live interaction that an HA Conference brings, but we can bring you the same great CPD and learning opportunities, no matter what the format.

Terms and conditions
Prior to booking, please ensure that you have read the booking terms and conditions. We have provided a shorter summary of these below. You can read our privacy policy in full here.
Cancellation by you
Cancellation by us
It is possible that we may have to cancel or make changes to the Historical Association Conference 2023. Changes will usually be minor and will not have any material effect on your Conference experience. Minor changes could include, for example, the alteration of the advertised programme (including speakers) and timings of the event.
Where a change or cancellation must be made because of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances that are beyond our control, such as force majeure, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care, we will refund in full all registration fees, but hereby disclaim any further liability.
Payment
Please note: Full payment for your booking must be received prior to the event.
Payment must be made in GBP sterling. Payments can be accepted by credit/debit card (Visa and Mastercard only) and by invoice with a strict 14-day payment term.
Please note that if payment is not made by credit or debit card at the time of booking, this is required either within 14 days of the date of registration or before Thursday 4 May 2023, whichever is sooner (the due date will appear on your registration confirmation). Any booking made after this date will have to be paid for at the time of registration with a valid credit/debit card.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any delegate who has not paid in full by the due date. Any unpaid invoices by this date will revert to the standard full payment charge (regardless of initial registration date) and will be payable within 14 days.
The registration form constitutes a legally binding contract and, by confirming, you are legally obliged to make payment for all fees as applicable by your registration.
