The Historical Association are the national charity for history and our mission is to support the history of all for all. We seek to provide engaging and thought-provoking journals, films, podcasts, in-person and digital talks and short courses, covering a huge range of historical topics and approaches – from practical courses designed for those new to teaching or taking their next career steps, to immersive and rigorous explorations of different aspects, places and periods of history.
Membership provides our main income and enables us to support our subject and to help schools and teachers to enthuse and engage future generations with a love and understanding of a complex, challenging and changing world.
