When can I book for the conference?

Booking will open mid January 2024 for in person bookings until Wednesday 8 May 2024. In the meantime, you can register your interest by emailing conference@history.org.uk.

What happens if I cannot attend in-person at the last minute?

All in-person delegates will be able to move to attend virtually at any point. You will be required to contact conference@history.org.uk, if this is prior to Thursday 2 May 2024 you will be given a partial refund. If this is after Thursday 2 May 2024 no refund will be offered but you can still move to attend virtually.

Who do I contact if I do not receive the joining instructions?

If you haven’t received the full joining instructions email by Friday 3 May 2024, please call +44 (0) 1904 702165 or email conference@history.org.uk.

Can I change sessions?

On signing up for the in-person conference you will be required to select the sessions you would like to attend. You can change your mind and opt to do another session at any time leading up to the event.

When you sign up for the in-person conference, you will need to click on ‘please click here’ to view the available session. You will be required to select the session you would like to attend. Until this is done you will be unable to move to the next stage of the booking process. You can change your mind and opt to do another session at any time leading up to the event.

Will there be an opportunity to ask questions during the live sessions?
During the live sessions, delegates will be able to ask questions, although most questions will not be answered until the end of each session.

Recordings

Will the recordings be made available after the conference?

Only the sessions within the virtual programme will be recorded and available to delegates who have purchased the additional ticket to view the post event recordings on-demand. This is charged at an additional £40 (inc VAT) and you can add this onto your booking when registering. All recordings will be available to view back until Saturday 31 August 2024.

How do I access the recordings?

All recordings will be hosted within Oxford Abstracts, you will be sent a link to access this in advance of the event. When logging in to view the content simply enter the password you will be given.

How do I watch back the recordings?

Each virtual session will be listed within the online programme within Oxford Abstracts, you simply select the one you want to watch and click the view button.

Can I promote the event on social media and what is the hashtag for the event?

Yes, please feel free to post about the event using #HAConf24 @histassoc and direct anybody that is interested to www.haconference.com.

CPD certificate

Will I receive a CPD certificate after the event?
CPD certificates will be provided for all attendees as a download within the post event email.
